Facilities are limited .... extremely limited. But what a treat for the senses! Crashing waves, calm blue sea (to the left) to swim in. Lovely sand. An abandoned hotel (to the right). Oh, and one of the best beach cafes on the island. We are lucky enough to visit Antigua every year, and two trips out here for two or... More

Beautiful crashing waves of the Atlantic and yet protected by a natural jetty. The Beach Bum Bar serves food and good wine and drinks. I had lobster grilled. Just ok. Not great. Fish wrap was also unsatisfying in every way.

We visited this truly magnificent stretch of sandy beach and turquoise waters in Feb 2017. In one word.... 'Paradise' !!!

We visited Half Moon Bay while touring Antigua. The resort that used to be there is now out of business. This has left this huge beautiful beach virtually empty. Half Moon Bay regulatory is listed in the top beaches of Antigua. A don't miss sight.

A really wonderful beach, totally unspoilt and only a few people there. Good waves but also calm parts. Also really good for a walk .

The water was rough the day we visited. Lots of fun jumping in the waves. There is a calm water area also off to the left side of the beach if you are not interested in being tossed around in the waves. Hike up on the left to enjoy the view.

Stopped here whilst on a round the island jeep tour with Jessy Jay. The road leading down to the beach has a great position for a photo of the bay. The beach itself is glorious, very quiet with a small cafe/bar and not a lot else really. Definitely worth a visit and would like to return.

Love Half Moon Bay!!! Now this beach is a 100% must see. From the protected bay good for snorkeling, to riding the waves in the middle of the beach. I would recommend sooner then later, I have heard talk of a resort being built. Normally you may find 2-3 dozen or less sun worshippers hanging for the day. I have... More

Lovely white soft sands under the feet and warm seas ! A wonderful experience . Strong undertow on the left hand side of the beach . Better to swim on the right . There are large rocky sections under the sea which are visible so avoidable . Beyond the steps up the cliff to the right there is a large... More
