Wasn't hard to get to this beach, came during off season, so there were very few people. Loved the peaceful setting and the water was just amazing, esp around the calm side. Def wear sunblock and you will also need bug spray. Cool pic taking...More

There are so many beaches in Antigua, is this one for you? First, I must say that we were there in August the low season (even some hotels are closed during this time of the year) and no cruise ship where in town so wherever...More

Half Moon Bay Beach is truly one of the islands most beautiful beach. There is a "calm side".... like a big swimming pool with no waves and a "rough" side where you can body surf! There has been the sargrassum seaweed problem from time to...More

Serene, beautiful beach below an Antiguan National Park. Avery's Beach Bums cafe is a go to local lunch or sunset dinner. Bring hiking shoes and follow the right ridge (as you look out) to a giant hole in the ridge for a great view.

lovely place, turquoise water but no shade. You can rent sunbed to a guy hidden in a bush, just have a look where the sunbeds are.

Beautiful beach, well protected for the kids. No chairs or service on beach so bring your towels etc. The Beach Bum Cafe was nice, was quaint and food was tasty.

Tippy (cook and owner) has run this place for a while. Its basic - has to rely on water deliveries and its an open air dining area with a corrugated roof and wooden benches. She does little to market the place (just a facebook page)...More

This is a nice enough bay, not as nice as Pigeon Point Beach. The cafe / Restaurant at Half Moon Bay is expensive. The bay had a lot of seaweed when we visited.

There is Smiling Harrys along the road, but we went to the Beach Bum Shack overlooking the bay a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely excellent. Can recommend the grilled chicken strips.
