Downtown West Palm Beach has a multitude of restaurants. Some of them are even worth going to and some are not. The worse part of going downtown is the traffic on the narrow streets and it is a parking nightmare.

Went by on a Sunday and they had a car show with streets blocked off. A lot of fun with music playing. Had a great lunch and enjoyed the city. Really clean and safe environment.High end shops and restaurants.

I know tastes are different, but this has been not the best place I have been, it might be ok for spring break, but that's it! Never again!

Downtown was beautiful. However, very busy. New construction caused some delays and detours, but overall a lot of beautiful sites to see. Beautiful mansions along the waterway were nice to see near downtown as well, along with worth avenue.

I agree with another reviewer in that there are way too many bars and not enough shops. Also, a nice t-shirt runs upward of $30. That's a little pricey, but consider it is West Palm Beach. It would have been nice to see more gift...More

Lots of various places to eat and a free trolley ride to help you look around. Live music was played at one point in the main square. Enjoy being a the stroll about and looking around at the various places of interest.

On the overall impression of downtown West Palm Beach is rundown with a lot of premises empty whilst the City Place is vibrant and trendy. The community needs some funding to make this area appealing again

Just shopping and bars and restaurants like in any other normal city. Nothing much to see here. Okay to walk around if you have time.

Tre are parking meters on both sides of the beach avenue. There are private parking garages near saks. I haven't seen any free parking areas.

The nearest ocean beach is on the east side of the town of Palm Beach. If you are in West Palm Beach and go to Palm Beach the beach is just a few minutes by car where public parking at $5 is available. Also ocean route A1A... More
