If you're just looking for trails to walk, the $7 entrance fee is a bit steep, but The springs are beautiful, architecture picturesque and there is plenty to do if you have time.

I am a local so I visit frequently. In all the years I’ve lived here have never lucked out on a day when the glass bottom boats are running (only run when there is enough clarity). I still thoroughly enjoy the educational one hour boat...More

We saw lots of manatees, baby alligators, and many birds including an anhinga spearing and eating a fish and a little blue heron eating a crawfish.

Love this park! The Wildlife River Tour is worth every penny. So many beautiful Florida birds and gators to see! We also saw a dozen manatee on the trip. A classic old Florida experience.

We visited the State Park and took the very reasonably priced ($8./adult) one hour river trip. The Guide was excellent and we saw Manatees, alligators, numerous fish and various birds. The boat was well equipped for all ages and comfortable.

Compared to the swamp tour for around 170 bucks, this at 6 Dollars was a steal! And what you see and watch within the 1 hour tour is amazing! Just looks at the fotos - even an alligator mummy and her little one :-))
