The Botanical Gardens are just gorgeous. It is wonderful to experience natural, unspoiled Florida. We were able to enjoy the Sean Kenney Lego exhibit which was really impressive; both the Lego creations as well as how they were embedded so naturally into the landscape. Wonderful photo opportunities. It was an hour drive for us and worth it. The staff at... More

Enjoyed the garden paths at McKee and the Lego exhibit that they had going on at the time. Many plants are labeled and this makes the visit even more enjoyable. Got lots of photos to remind us of this beautiful place! Lots of shade to keep you cool on a warm day.

Excellent, relaxing & very informative. Saw plants and flowers I wish I could grow in my yard. I took many, many pictures I can look at instead.

During the week this is very relaxing and slow paced. Reading the history in the dining hall building area made it very interesting. The Lego sculptures were fun but the real foliage was the main attraction. It felt like being in a tropical jungle. Good for older people and they have a loaner wheelchair if the walk gets too much... More

This is a wonderful little island of tranquility in this congested part of Florida. It is well maintained and beautiful and we especially liked the Lego artwork that was on display while we were there. Really a well done botanical garden!!

My wife is a certified landscape designer and plantscape artist in terrariums. She says McKee is amazing and I agree. Not satisfied with a "jungle garden" for nearly a century, McKee now presents an incredible variety of programs including dinosaurs and Lego creations installed beautifully among the plants. Their lights throughout the garden during Christmas and New Years attract thousands... More

Walking thru this garden is a fun thing for all ages. Visited with 3 year old and his parents. Weekends are busy but weekdays are generally not. Great little gift shop and nice restaurant for lunch. Good way to get some outdoor exercise.

From bygone days McKee was a jungle Garden. There are no more animals today. But the Polynesian building with with its hundred guest table has been restored to a magnificent structure. The gardens are beautiful throughout with orchids adorning many of the trees. As a bonus there were Lego sculptures throughout the garden for a limited time. Definitely a little gem.

Visiting with my sisters we enjoyed this nice afternoon trek through lush tropical gardens, waterways and natural beauty. There's a Lego exhibit which will be a great draw for a family with children.

Thank Carol B
