Some very rich person obviously endowed this art museum. It puts to shame museums in towns 10x its size. Plus there are classic movie seminars, pottery classes and art classes. A great asset to the community.

A real treat. Many unusual outdoor sculptures and a small museum of art pieces. Open and airy with many activities centered on children. Impressive. Almost on the beachfront. A very personable docent. Surely worth a visit.

Not much to see. Not sure if they change it up often or not. Only a few rooms. Not worth going out of your way to see. The staff is very friendly though!

And special exhibits are always very interesting. We had a friendly and knowledgeable docent for the astrophotography exhibit which was spectacular. VBMA is worth a visit.

Wonderful museum. Exhibits change and there is always something going on that keep the locals coming back. A good place to take visitors on a hot day to enjoy Art under the AC.

Probably not for the regular exhibits. But they do have programs for kids. Best to check with museum for when you plan to visit.
