Nice beach, with free parking. Showers to rinse off. There was a little shop there with restrooms, I don't know what was in it. I think it was drinks and souvenirs. I hope it survives Irma with minimal damage. Nice beach.

Venice Beach is very family friendly. Beautiful, quiet, calm gulf waters...perfect for swimming, sunning, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, boating, shelling, fishing, etc.

Nice small quiet beach with free parking! Clean and well keep. Good for all age. Go enjoy yourself . We were staying at the hotel across street so didn't use bathhouse but knowing the area I'm sure the were nice

Drive a little south to Caspersen Beach. If you have more time a drive to Sanibel Island would be even better.

If you have any respiratory issues, I suggest you avoid Venice Beach due to the RED TIDE phenomenon. None of the tourism sites mention it but it's serious and irritated my health problems
