Aside from the obvious shark teeth mine that this place is, the park is so natural and gorgeous. Not crowded with buildings or commercial establishments..just beauty and nature. I loved the rock formations and the tide pools. This place quickly has become my favorite beach...More

This is a beautiful beach, but as a female alone I did not feel 100% at ease. I think if You have two or more people, it's fine. Perhaps it is because of all the bad news stories I've heard over the years. I'll stick...More

This was the most amazing beach! We were camping at Oscar Scherer State Park so this beach was very close to us. The first time we walked up and saw the view, we were overwhelmed by it's beauty. We ended up coming to this beach...More

Nice! You'll love the boardwalk around the site. It's more of a peaceful place to bask in the sun than to swim due to the rougher water, sharks, dropoffs on ocean floor, etc. I was impressed by this site! Very nice!!!

This is an amazing beach. It is ruined by the naked men that walk and sun bathe starting about 1/2 a mile from the entrance. We have tried several times to go shark tooth hunting with our kids on this beach. It is sad this...More

My wife and I love taking long strolls on Caspersen Beach. We will normally walk to South Venice Beach and back. We call it a living beach because of the multitude of shells, shark teeth, and sea life along the shore and shorelines. The overhanging...More

We live on the island and we go to Caspersen Beach for a number of reasons. Best place on the island for finding shark's teeth, miles of beach, small boat (canoe, kayak) launch, and ok amount of parking. There is a "boardwalk" area that is...More

We went to Caspersen Beach to look for shells and Shark Teeth. It was great fun. The beach is covered in shells of all sizes and colours and then the hunt is on for shark teeth. For this you have to enter the water and...More

As others mentioned, the Venice Fish Pier is just a little North of Caspersen behind Sharky's Restaurant but it is worth a visit- awesome place to fish and watch the sun set! Includes a bait and gift shop on the pier!
