Beautiful park, good fishing. Parking is $5.00, but worth it. Fishing is best from the causeway bridges. Swimming area is shallow enough for small children.

it is a beautiful clean beach that isn't too crowded and off the beaten path. If you are just going to swim and sunbathe then it is a great place

Nice place in North Pinellas to go to a beach. Free parking up to the causeway. After that it's $5. There is a kayak vendor at the beach.

After a very busy day spent as area tourists, we made it to Fred Howard Park to see a magnificent sunset. We were able to relax and take some very beautiful pictures.

The park is a nice place for a picnic and for spending some time on the beach and in the water. Parking is quite reasonable at $5 for the day. The causeway to it is a very nice and relaxing drive or walk.

A little tricky to find but worth it. $5 for all day parking. Beautiful Causeway to get to the little island. Lots of parking. Less crowded than Clearwater. Kayak & Paddle board rentals. Great visibility for sunsets.

We stopped here based on other reviews and enjoyed our afternoon with our kids (10 & 8). We hit up the playground first, after visiting the Tarpon springs sponge docks. It was mid afternoon and we spotted two gopher tortoises coming across the grass near...More

Yes you can bring your own Jet Ski there. Florida Parks had a website where you can go get specific info on what they offer.

The hours of the park change throughout the year as the sunset changes & the days are shorter, the park will close earlier. Currently on July 2, the park closes at 9.
