We were blown away by this park and beach. It was recommended to us by someone we were seated next to on the plane. There is a $5 parking charge and we were happy to pay it. Nice family beach and we saw several families that had obviously come for a picnic dinner on the beach, some evening swimming and... More

Early morning is best for biking across the causeway. Check out the kayak rentals as well. White sand and clean bathrooms

The beach is clean and has ample parking, can pay at the meter and enjoy your day! The sand feels like powder in between your toes and white like snow. The water is as clear as ever, you can see your toes while you're waist deep! There's a ice truck on the beach where you can buy a soda or... More

We were happy we could enjoy the "sponge capital of the world" AND the beach all in the same trip. The beach was not crowded, was located right on the point so was surrounded on 3 sides by water. and had lots of room for swimming and sitting. No shells, had sea grass piled on edges of water. Nice water... More

Need your GPS for this place, but it is great. Sandy beach, lovely views, great park. This is a wonderful place for a family to visit. Plan to spend all day. There are picnic benches in shaded woods, playgrounds for kids, fishing along a causeway. Great place to watch the sun set. Parking is only $5.00 for the entire day.... More

This is a great little beach. Parking is close, which is great if you are toting kids, all their stuff or fishing gear. It's $5 to park all day but every time we went, someone just wanted to visit for a short time and gave us their ticket. It's a great little place.

Easy to Park for a fee. Good for fishing or just a quiet day at the beach. Water is shallow and surf is low for little ones. Great Sunsets!
