This theatre is very historical, it's like you're walking through time. I saw the movie "The Bookshop" there, great movie. I would recommend seeing a movie there just to explore the inside of this beautiful establishment.

I've been to this theatre for shows and backstage tours. The staff is always friendly! Cheap food and drinks and even the show tickets are cheap. Just be sure to buy tickets in advance because some stuff does sell out fast. The recent renovations are...More

The Tampa theatre is gorgeous on the inside. Great classic films. Every year my son and I attend the interactive Rocky Horror Picture Show which is a blast. They also hold Oscar Night here which is a great event.

I am embarrassed to say that I have only been to the Tampa Theatre once before and have lived in the area 20 years. I am unsure what has changed but according to other reviewers the theatre did some renovations. Maybe that's why it didn't...More

I went for the first time to watch a Mister Rogers documentary with my wife and her company and let me tell you this place is unbelievable. I thought I had stepped in a time machine and walked out in 1700 Spain. The interior architecture...More

Normally, the organ player will begin playing about 30 minutes before the start of the show. However, if they’re showing a silent movie, the organ player will play throughout the film. My wife and I were fortunate to hear... More
