This is the place to go to see lots of Manatees... along with Rays and game fish! Best time to visit is winter/early Spring.

We usually try to visit the viewing center at least twice a year. I get so excited in seeing the manatees in their nature habitat.

Great for a leisurely outing! Great for the little ones. Manatees are not always there but exciting to see when they are.

A great place to learn about these sea cows. Volunteers help operate the educational center. One can learn a lot at this sight. The colder the waters of the bay, and Gulf of Mexico, the more manatees seen here. So, please keep the weather in...More

We love this place when the waters around Tampa Bay get cooler. The manatees come here by the dozens. Sometimes there are so many, you don't get to see them all.

We've been a few times and it's a must see destination during manatee season. The Viewing Center has a few activities and great wild life to see if you have the time to sit and enjoy. They really did a nice job of making it...More

They are typically there in the cooler weather trying to stay in the warmer water. I believe the sight is open all year.
