Tampa Bay History Center was a true delight. Upon arrival we were greeted by a somber yet positive outside display called "Walk of Heroes"; a memorial of those who sacrificed for the good of others: military, police officers, firefighters. The grounds and building are right...More

Unfortunately this was the least favorite museum I have ever visited. I was in and out in under an hour and a half. The visit was not only not entertaining, it wasn't particularly informative.

Very helpful and friendly staff! The museum is well laid out and has a very broad presentation of various items involved in Tampa's rich history.

Nice place to learn a little bit of Tampa's history. There was a volunteer gentleman who was very nice and walked around with us giving us a "tour". I loved that on the third floor they had projects made by students.

Convenient location along water walkway. Exhibits were very informative and interesting. Staff was very helpful. The exhibits were not overwhelming and this made it more enjoyable and educational. Great cafe for quick lunch.

Hi, The exhibit is now scheduled to open in January 2018, partially as a result of our active hurricane season. I am beyond excited and hope you visit it, too!
