Having my opinion on science museums formed by the Boston MOSI, I had high expectations. Apparently, way too high. The first disappointment was that the kids couldn't go on the rope walk. Why? It was sold out. There was some strange nonsensical explanation that there were a finite amount of ropes (safety ropes?), as if when one kid went through... More

Been there many times for traveling exhibits and dome theater movies that give you a 210 degree view of the movie.

The museum has heaps of great programs for kids, including some that are on a time schedule. My small family and I visited MOSI on a Saturday, and my son wanted to do the 2-hour Minecraft class. However, halfway through that, the IMAX Robots movie started. The solution seemed pretty simple to me as a customer; we'd simply come and... More

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and provide us with your feedback. We're very sorry that you experienced an issue with our Minecraft Mania class. We agree with you 100%, it is not something designed to keep kids in for two hours without leaving. We're glad that you were able to speak with José, and that... More

Great place for kids, not so much for a college educated adult. I did think the exhibit about the human body was interesting but some of the interactive things just didn't work as smoothly as they could have. I was also sad that the grounds outside did not seem as well taken care of as I had hoped along the... More

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. At MOSI, we have something for all ages! Were you able to take in an IMAX film, or see a planetarium show? Weathering the Storm, Faraday's Cage, and 3D Printing: The Exhibition are also fun for everyone! We are in the midst of spring, and things are growing and blooming... More

My children are 10 and 12. We found the museum very fun and interesting. There were alot of hands on activities to keep them interested and they were learning alot in the process. We enjoyed the live demonstrations. My girls enjoyed the interactions with the staff. IMAX was amazing. Recommend the planetarium show. It was very informative.

This hands on museum is a nice way to spend an afternoon with the kids and teens. The domed IMax theatre is pretty cool as well.

Science Museums are my favorite type of museum. Mosi is definitely entertaining. It's not the biggest and best in the country, but it has all the basics plus the kids in charge area is a nice play area for elementary and younger kids. I do wish it had more interactive stations. The moon area in particular was dull for adults... More

Recently revisited the museum after a long break and I am overjoyed to see that it still has the type of quality, entertaining content that inspires children to have a life-long interest in the sciences that I remembered.
