Ybor use to be called the Harlem of Tampa, but it has been redeveloped for the last 15 years since Cigar and Bootlegging times, I have been visiting it since the late 1980's.. The main drag has some major big box eatery's (buffalo wings) and many little start ups that seem to be surviving with the economic tides. Some storefronts... More

First time here. Liked the old architecture. Great choice of places to eat and lots of places to drink. We went early afternoon. Busy but not bad. Great place for nightlife. We are at Tampa Bay Brewery. Only drawback...parking.

This is a cute area of Tampa to explore. Just walk around and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Be sure to lol at the architecture . read the signs that explain the city history. It is a nice blend of cuban and Italian heritage.

Great vibes in this little section outide of Tampa. Must try Columbia restaurant! Nice architecture and bright colored building; like a walk back in time!

This little slice of Cuba was a wonderful discovery for me. I loved the food and the people and the evening street atmosphere.

Great place to go for drinks! Day and night if you're a tourist. You can even find some good deals in the daytime. Neat to see them making cigars by hand or grab some authentic Cuban food.

We went into ybor 3 times for food. It's got a fun vibe, gets a bit noisy and the food choices are not huge. Lots of cigar saloons and tattoo parlours. It a fascinating e lactic. Inch of people passing by

An isle of quality, beauty, culture and "southness" in the middle of florida. Tampa is a normal ameircan city except for the nice bay and for obr City. A candy in the south. You could breathe the atmosphere of New Orleans but it's not like the big easy.. Any way after or before the american suicide of Disney World and... More

Was expecting more history, culture and neighborhood. There are tons of bars and cigars, but that's it

This is one district in Tampa that you have to visit. This is center of Cuban, Italian, Spanish heritage which is at the root of Tampa's multi-ethnic culture. Stroll around on a sunny day and get a cup of coffee, a cuban sandwich and a hand-rolled cigar (if that is your style). Visit the Italian club, the Ybor museum. Don't... More
