One can walk for miles on this wild, sexy, unspoiled beach. I love that it isn't full of bars along the way. Siesta Key Village has the restaurants and bars contained in the space and the beach is left wild.

Loved this large, very soft sand beach with calm beautiful water!!! I swam for over an hour, sat in my beach chair and enjoyed the sun! But when it came to wanting some relief from the harmful rays, there was no shade unless you walked to the pavilion where the restrooms, picnic tables and food and other vendors were located.... Was a great morning race and had local business tents set up for all kinds of information and fun prizes and a party with wonderful cupcakes and music after the race.

I was told this is the best beach in the United Sates and I'm not surprised by this rating. This is really a fab beach.

This beach will spoil you! The sand is clean & white. Feels good on your feet. The water & beach & clean. a little crowded because everyone knows how wonderful it is. I live approximately 40 minutes North of Siesta Key but it is worth the drive.

I hate just sitting around on a beach getting burned, so to me the ideal beach is one where you can walk for a long time. This one fit the bill--I can't tell exactly how long you can walk because I never finished it, but it appears to be at least 3 miles long. Nice flat walking surface, beautiful water... More

Though this beach is advertised to be one of the best beaches in the US, being a Floridian, I wished it stayed a secret hidden gem. It's soooo crowded, therefore makes it unenjoyable. I live on this coast and prefer to be on a more private, but public beach which I have found...

No doubt best beach in US. BYOS = bring your own shade, which is true for all west coast of Florida beaches. Facilities are beautiful, sand unbelievable parking free and plentiful. Drum Circle is cool.

This is one of the very top rated beaches in the country. We live nearby and are very familiar with it. It is gorgeous. The powder-like sand will not burn your feet no matter how hot it is. The only drawback is that it is very popular. Parking can be a problem, especially during season.
