A park that doesn't usually get the recognition and number people of other Parks in the county. It is a large park along Boca Ciega Bay. I could not find any trail maps, so bring your phone if you go. The location of the trails is not obvious. There is a nice boardwalk and observation tower BUT dogs are NOT... More

You can launch kayaks from this great park, watch birds or do so much more. Very large park with miles of property.

Its very well maintained. Has a nice playground for two different age groups. There are plenty of benches to sit and rest along the paved walkway. Lots of birds, ducks, and even an alligator to observe.

I visit this park four times a week for walking exercise. It has an almost one mile long circular boardwalk and tall observation tower. The walking trails provide every experience. It goes over the wet areas along the Intercoastal Waterway; through deeply wooded areas; along ponds with alligators and birds; to the play ground and to the dog park. There... More

Very large county park. Supposed to be a great place for birding; however, there were no trail maps, no help in finding the bird trail, rest rooms closed except for weekends. Very disappointing.

We love this park, tucked away off the beaten path, this awesome sanctuary. Love the walking paths, boardwalks and observation tower. Great playground for the kids, as well as a dog park. Restrooms and shelters are all clean. Quiet & peaceful.

This is one of my favorite spots in the county, and yet somehow people still don't know about it. My neighbor has lived in the area for years and didn't even know it was there. Great place to walk, observe nature, see snakes and gators. Usually a very quiet park and not highly trafficked, unlike most of the other parks... More

This is a great walking park with its views of the water, and beautiful greenery. There are great pavilions for picnics but the restrooms are only open on the weekends, although you do have access to running water next to most pavilions. There is a dog park for the four legged visitors. And if you are lucky, you may even... More

This little park is lovely. Well kept and maintained, it offers a release from the busy streets and noise. Wonderful place to explore and enjoy. Perfect for bike riding whether alone or with family.
