By making our way to the trails and then the canopy, this was a very cool experience that we have never seen before. SO much that our younger children wanted to do it 2x. Great fun for all, but you need to be able to climb stairs, not be afraid of heights and then trust the cables and walkway. No... More

Our group including 3 adults and 4 young children enjoyed this adventure. You have to be in relatively good shape to climb all the steps. Not recommended for those with fear of heights.

We've been to Sarasota 5-6 times and somehow managed to miss this gem. Now I will make it a repeat occasion on every trip. The most incredible nature sighting can be found here. We saw alligators, white pelicans, great egrets, blue herons, etc. We skipped the canopy as it was a bit crowded but did the Boardwalk, and a few... More

Felt this was much smaller than the pictures, but thoroughly enjoyed it! Very open going up, but saw 2 people that couldn't handle it. Nice view from the top, but small area. We had to wait on the stairs until the group that was up there finally decided to come down.

I was surprised by the view from the top of the towers. I love the trees and really enjoyed the time we spent at the park. The birds and the alligator sightings were a big plus. I would definitely go back.

Part of the Myakka State Park is the canopy walk, which is not to be missed. This imposing structure will not only get you 60 some feet above the treeline, but provide you with ample information on what you are about to see. Well done!

Just a short walk down the trail, you arrive at the walkway. It's an easy climb and worth the trip to look out over the trees. The entire Myakka Park is beautiful to explore

Loved going to the top of the observation tower. It isn't a hard climb and the view is stunning. It is a very short walk to the tower and even if you choose not to go up the tower the short walk is enjoyable.

The canopy walk isn't very long but it is so interesting to go from below the trees to above the trees. If you dare, climb all the way to the top. Great views.

Sarasota as it was when the settlers first came. Preserved and a true nature experience. Nothing else like it. And the canopy walkway is an environmental experience walking above the tree tops, with the birds and the clouds as your company.
