Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary provides a sanctuary "for life" for the exotic animals currently calling the sanctuary home. Our goal is to create habitats that mimic native environments and are complete with a staff that can provide daily behavioral, sensory, and manipulative enrichment which is the basis for a happy healthy animal in captivity. As we grow and open our habitat to more rescues we will provide the same excellent care while educating the public.

I am impressed each time with the Rosair /retired circus family who all work hard to care for these exoctic animals so we can appreciate them before some are gone forever. They need donations to expand and provide for the assortment of animals they have acquired over the years in addition to just tigers, lions, bears, etc. I like the... More

They are nonprofit. The big cat show was great and educational. Chance the chimp was the star of the show. They have big cats, monkeys and birds.

Kids ages 9 and 4 both enjoyed the animals and information about them. Good experience for adults too. Shows include humor and education. Walkways allow you an up close view of the animals.

I understand the purpose of this place, however, not impressive like other farm or animsl farms. I think my visits to other places already makes me biased against this place. Not worth money, however the money is for improving their environments.

Bears, lions, tigers, panthers and other assorted small animals all caged in tiny unkept barred enclosures with little or nothing to keep them occupied. The bears and cats prowl up and down the same tiny confined space - it was really upsetting to witnesse. This is not a sanctuary but the remnants of a circus where tigers and lions perform... More

Interesting, fun and educational! We have never seen so many big cats. Lions, tigers, Bobcats, servals, Cougars, even a liger. The big cat show was fun.

This is an amazing little gem in Sarasota. The park is not overly large and the enclosures are a close to the walkways. I would definitely recommend to make the shows. They are great educational experience. They are lions, and tigers, and bears oh my!

Very cool place. The workers and volunteers really care about the animals here. The Tiger show was amazing, better than big name zoo's we've been too. Definitely recommend this place to others.

These folks know their stiff and are putting together rescue, education, and entertainment. We enjoyed 2 shows and perusing the grounds. Don' t miss this -- & Celery Fields is close by for birding.

This is a great place to see not only the beautiful big cats but other animals as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the shows. It is very evident the owners genuinely love and care about these magnificent animals. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy seeing these rescued animals who otherwise would not have a home.
