There have always been a lot of people here when I have been by. Parking seems difficult. Last visit was by boat.Does not appeal to me.

It can be very good fishing at times, nice place to just chill away from the crowds, not much parking ,you need a parking permit like some of the other beaches, either Sanibel or Capitivia permits

This was by far our favorite place to go "shelling". We brought home at least 20 lbs of shells from our visit which we mainly collected at this beach. No swimming because of currents.

Blind Pass does not seem to have any, let alone an abundance, of petrified shark teeth. At least when I was there I could not find even one. But every other kind of shell seemed to be present in great abundance. There were quite a few people taking in the sun and surf but still it was a lovely beach... More

Visit here after a storm and you are in for a treat! And if there's no storm, you'll still be glad you came. Shells galore! Especially down by the bridge. Parking is super tricky, there's 2 small lots, of paid parking- but it took me a while to get spot as it was so busy! But once we did, we... More

Great place to see spectacular sunsets. Also a great place to go shelling. Be sure to bring insect repellant.

Nice large beach known for good shelling. Best shelling after a storm! Swimming is not advised due to a strong current. Limited parking can be a problem, go early!

We visited this beach for a 50 year wedding anniversary renewal of vows ceremony What a lovely place to do it, beautiful views out to sea and of the amazing sunset. Looked like a nice place to swim too. Watch out for the bugs near the mangroves!!!!!

Beach is nice and the fishing is great surrounding the bridge. The problem is getting a place to park. There are two parking locations--one on sanibel and then the other over the bridge on Captiva.
