Remember the white sands from the movies? Playing in the waves? Finding shells? It’s all here. The view is great, the waves ideal for younger children to play in. Parking was easy this time of the year. We went back to the car when we...More

There are no bad beaches in Sanibel. The more popular place to park is probably around the lighthouse. If that is full it is good to know about this spot located off Casa Ybel Road. The beach is known as Algiers Beach after a steamboat...More

not so many shells, but I think that may be a bit weather, time and luck dependent. You can ride your bike right in here, park it and go to the beach

What an amazing visit. Dog-friendly and absolutely pristine. Shells as far as the eye can see. Wear your water shoes as you can wade out a bit and just look down and grab some beach treasures/shells. Bring your buckets you will need them. Parking is...More

You are in the right place! Beutiful clean and uncrowded beach. Please, note that parking is limited by Sanibel beaches.

This is my favorite beach, it's limited parking means it's never too busy. The park has picnic tables, grills, clean bathrooms, and water fountains that have a pet drinking height.

The parking all over the island is awful if you're not staying there. My husband waited a half an hour for a parking spot at this particular beach while our kids and I enjoyed the water. It's a beautiful beach, shells EVERYWHERE, fun surf and...More

A beach we visit every time we vacation here. The view is gorgeous and it has the best shelling. A little walk from the parking lot, but worth it. Parking is expensive , but you are on an island. We enjoying walking and looking for...More

I walked miles collecting different sizes, shapes, and colors of shells. According to what we were told, this is one of the 2 best beaches in the world (the other being in Australia) for finding a variety of intact shells. Parking is difficult and pricey,...More

We loved walking on this beach in the morning. Bring beach shoes so you don't cut your feet on all the shells. You can walk for miles to the north or a couple miles to the south to Lighthouse Park and beach. Parking is $5...More
