Nice course. A nice alternative to an executive par 3. Short course but challenging. A good target golf experience. Play can be a little slow (I think the average age of everyone I saw the day I played was 85) but I give one of the rangers credit for asking the group ahead to speed it up! Never before have... Visited the Dunes as part of a Corporate group, and they really look after you - right from welcoming on arrival through, setting up carts, rental clubs (which were like new sets) and ensuring we had all we needed. Course was good, if a little surrounded by water...

First of all, if you're planning on playing golf on Sanibel Island you have three choices (Sanctuary, a private club, is usually not an option). First, you can plan Sanibel Island Golf Club (Old Beachview). The conditioning there is spotty, the layout average, but you may be able to get a good deal later in the day. Secondly, you may... Fun course. I was told by many people to bring extra golf balls, and that was no joke. If you are a slicer, water will be your enemy. Great setting and maintained. Staff friendly. Finished 18 holes and it started to pour...they won't let you drive the golf carts in the parking lot to your car...

Very clean course, good conditions, beautiful greens but slow play. We kept ourselves entertained with all the amazing wild birds.

We had a unique experience. We went early and had lunch, #10 was really, really backed up. I mean there were 3 or 4 groups waiting to hit. Expectations were very low on my part for a reasonable round, time-wise. Then it rained for 20 minutes... not too hard but you would have thought the lightning siren went off- everybody... More

We have played this course few times during October and in November. This year greens and fairvays have been in really good condition. We recommend!

Just played the Dunes and I thought it was in great shape. They green where very good. If you tend to hook right, bring extra balls. The restaurant is newly redone and very pleasant. We all had a good lunch and they gave us a discount, which helped offset lost balls.

What a treat! This course was not very long but offered plenty of hazards including lots of water, bunkers and OB. We played the tips and it was just under 6,000 yards. The course offers a nice range with floating golf balls to hit in the lake. Trust me it won't be the only time you hit a shot in... More
