Whether you're a first time visitor or a return visitor, this is a good place for a quick visit. Tons of brochures, menus, and island newspapers to chose from, as well as free tide charts, shell guides, and coupons. Very friendly & helpful staff too.

This was located the 2nd driveway after entering Sanibel. I thought that the Menus provided for the restaurants in the area was very helpful on deciding where to eat. There were also brochures with coupons for things to do!

A wealth of information available for Sanibel and Captiva staffed with helpful volunteers. We also stopped briefly after hours on our way on to Sanibel; greatly appreciate some information being available outside the building.

Best sunset in La Florida - excellent to rest, relax and have fun. The hotel south sea resort is great for vacation.

If you're new to Sanibel Island, this place is a must. It's full of helpful brochures, maps, and resaurant menus, plus real live human beings who can answer your quesitons. It's the first thing you come to as you exit the causeway.

Sanibel Lighthouse is a quick visit, IF you can find parking. We also enjoyed the drive to Captiva. There are good beach view and interesting houses along the way. Shell-collecting on any of the beaches is a favorite... More

First time visitors coming in eat my October. Just wondering if the wildlife is still active during this time. We are interested in the darling refuge and dolphin excursions. Also would this time be considered your "slow season"? Thanks!
