A visit to Sanibel Island would not be complete without seeing the Lighthouse on the southeast end. A walk on the beach and a visit to the Pier are all part of this experience

This is a fun to see while shelling or taking a long stroll on the beach. Have to pay for parking but it's worth it.

It is a fascinating experience. Since our initial visit was cancelled due to hurricane Irma, visiting this lighthouse gave me a great appreciation for its construction. A must see when you visit the island.

Park at one of the hotels on Middle Gulf Drive (Sundial) and walk this peaceful area. Great place to enjoy the day end sunset!

You cannot access it. There are mostly condo rentals on Sanibel. Very few hotels.

There are restaurants on the island but not directly on the beach.
