Not much to do or see at this lighthouse. It's definitely one of the more unique exteriors of a Lighthouse I've seen/visited. Swing by take a pic and go enjoy the beach!

Went after hours so maybe this isn't a true depiction of the Lighthouse. It is like most lighthouses and nothing special. The parking is $10 for one hour which is extremely overpriced and taking advantage of tourist. Maybe there was some other site to see...More

I was very disappointed by the Sanibel Lighthouse, which I had heard about for years. The parking, like all beach parking in the area, is quite pricey, and the beach itself is disgusting compared to Bowman's Beach.

A must see on the island. The picture I took looked like it was out of a magazine. Very nice. I always stop in this place. Sometimes you will see dolphins here.

I made it a point to drive out to see this lighthouse. It is a tiny structure. Basically, some steel. I thought maybe there would be something to read or walk through, but everything was fenced off and said you couldn't go there. I'm not...More

Wonderful walk on the beach from our hotel to the Sanibel Island Lighthouse. Very well kept. The history on the marker was great. Appreciate the clean restrooms too!

We enjoyed watching the fisherman on the pier and seeing the birds on the beach. We were disappointed that there wasn’t more to see at the Lighthouse, but the views were nice from the point of the island. The parking costs $5 but the pass...More

Sanibel Island Light is a skeleton lighthouse that you can view from many points along Lighthouse Beach Park. There are Osprey that live on and around the lighthouse and the keeper’s house.

Lots of parking right there but you need to pay. I didn’t look around to see if there was free parking
