Love downtown Sanford. Super shops, a beautiful Tea Room, lots of bars and restaurants, antiques, a marshmallow store and Bitters and Brass- a beautiful, beautiful step-back-in-time bar with, albeit pricey, but fascinating drinks prepared by really cool bartenders, like Chris(I think that is his name)....More

This is a town full of character and fun to visit with all the shops. We enjoyed getting ice cream and smoothies at A Taste of Thyme Cafe.

Lots of nice places to see, eat and visit. My favorite city in Florida. Highly recommended place to visit, especially on the weekends.

After a Christmas parade we were looking for a place to meet with friends - some were hungry, some wanted a beer. Buster's Belgian Bistro filled the bill nicely. There were LOTS of folks out on the town. A nice party vibe, but not too...More

This is a very family oriented area. Lots to do for the whole family. A lot of outdoor restaurants with pretty views of the area.

We came here for the farmer's market on a Saturday morning. There were a lot of booths with fresh produce and arts and crafts for sale. Nice place to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

Sanford is truly old Florida. Brick streets, on street parking and tons of fun things to do. Restaurants, antique/art shops, farmers market on Saturday, Alive After Five once a month with food trucks galore. There is always something going on!

It's a small town north of Orlando. Has a lot of restaurants and local businesses. However, most of the local businesses are closed on Mon and some are also closed on Tues.

Lived there for almost 20 years. Still has a small town feel. If you don't have to commute the skinny parking lot (I-4) during rush hours, it is nice place to live.
