Animals are put out-of-sight starting at 3pm so plan to be out of there by then. Little train was broken down so had a hassle getting our $ back. Staff is unaccommodating and don't want you around them. Poor animals appeared to be miserable. Heartbreaking...More

Relatively small zoo. With some interesting and exotic animals. Was educational and accessible for small school groups. About 1 1/2 hour drive from Orlando. Our visit took 1 1/2 hours. We found walking the park among animals and gardens was pleasant. Unrushed.

Even though this zoo is pretty low key for the animals it has, it is great for kids for a lot of reasons. They have a fun play ground, splash pad, and even a kid's rope course!

Was looking for an afternoon outing with our 1 year old grandson. A splash park was the goal, but having a zoo to go with it was a huge win! Not sure who had a better time, him or us! We were able to feed...More

There is a splash play area for kids...considering it being August. I'm not sure about having the B-day party close to that area? I'd suggest calling the zoo about that one. My son and I went to the zoo yesterday (Feb... More
