A place of real Florida nature convenient to downtown. Take a walk, take a class or take the tour. All are very enjoyable and with folks interested in expanding your appreciation of the nature about you.

A great place to visit for long casual nature walks. When our children where younger we often enrolled them in their hands on nature summer programs. Have been here to take family pictures as well.

One of the few parks with a trail HILL in the area..look for the large Dinosaur sculptures made from car parts here and there along the trail. The nature museum is very nice too ! I recommend a visit to Boyd Hill !

The trails are amazing and a great display of Florida's natural landscapes. The gator babies off the boardwalk were truly a special treat. The children loved the resuced raptors. A day for the memory books.

No dogs allowed. And wouldn't be fair to the dogs or the resident critters. There are bicycles allowed. So if you're planning some time away from your dog, you can make it a bike outing, too. Enjoy.
