Looking for that unique gift? Try this craft art store in downtown St. Pete, Great works in clay, multi-media, glass, jewelry, all very unique. Some of the art is expensive, but there are great choices at a more moderate price.

We like to sample local culture when traveling and Florida CraftArt helped meet the need for us in St. Petersburg. It is located in the central arts district downtown that is itself a destination to go walk around and check out all the unique shops, bars, and restaurants. Florida CraftArt is a big, nice, shop as much as it is... More

On a recent trip to Indian Shores Beach, my wife and I decided to take a break from the beach and head to St. Petersburg for the Mural Walking Tour, held every Saturday at 10 a.m. We met our tour group and docent at the Florida CraftArt center in the Central Arts District. For the next hour-and-a-half, we saw and... More

Cannot say enough about Florida CraftArt. We were spending the day in St. Petersburg and had just left the Museum of Modern Art and decided to stop in at Florida CraftArt. Since my husband and I really enjoy and appreciate the work of local artisans in different media, we were not disappointed. This is not a large place, but exquisite,... More

My husband and I visited the Florida CraftArt Gallery and were pleasantly surprised. There was none of the usual art gallery fare of paintings, photography and giclees. They have an awesome variety of Florida artist 3D works of art! They carry beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery, 3D wall art, wood sculpture and much more. Very unique and different items that would... More

Walking into the gallery, you're first impressed with the diversity of the art work. But viewing deeper, you'll notice that some objects are mark with artist name tags and others aren't. Even asking the attendant about the artist who are unmarked, they'll have no idea who the artist is, much less any biographies that can be gleaned. This shows the... More

The shop is legendary for the amount of quality hand made items. The temporary shows are always interesting and stretch the concept of "craft"

Really loved the exhibit, I was helped by an old lady who was a volunteer there - forget her name unfortunately. She has an amazing taste.
