My family loves history and museums and we were not disappointed with this little gem. They offer a lot of history in a small space and very good for local genealogy. Best of all it was FREE! We did make a donation though.

You wouldn't expect to learn so much history in a small museum that was founded in 1993. But the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum documents the history of Pass-A-Grille and St. Petersburg Beach with a timeline display from 1500 to the present and artifacts, memorabilia, photographs...More

We stopped in one afternoon and were fascinated. The docents were very willing to share their knowledge of the history of Pass-a-Grille Island. We have been visiting Pass-a-Grille for many years and definitely learned many things we did not know.

Great place to learn some of the history of Pass-A-Grille. Check out the 'brag books' from the Sunshine School -- very cool!

We have taken several folks to this museum. We find something each time that we may have missed the time before. We love the old pictures and the story the museum tells about the area.

After being in Pass a Grille many times I finally stopped into this museum on a rainy day when the beach wasn't an option. Very interesting and worth a visit.

It's a small museum, but we have been there several times, especially on a rainy day. We love the history of the Pass A Grille area and enjoy visiting with the locals there.
