The beach was always very clean. You van rent umbrellas and lounge chairs or bring your own. The biggest problem is the parking. The lot can fill up early.

This is a wide stretch of beach. Plenty of room for everyone. The sand has a lot of small, crushed shells, but you will get used to it :)

Very relaxing on the beach plenty of shade with the cabana, or grab a chair and sit down at the Waters edge.

This beach is beautiful! There are easy beach accesses as well as beach bars you can hang out at when you need a break from the sun. I would highly recommend!

I have never seen this beach overcrowded, but there is a lot of it and the soft white sugar sand does not get hot to the touch, the sea is cool and clear and a good place to cool off while sunbathing. Well worth a visit.

Played all day, ate at the beachside restaurant. There are umbrellas and lounge chairs for rent at decent prices ($25 for the whole set up for the day). Very family friendly, super nice locals and the view was amazing.

We stayed at St Petes for a week and visited the beach and surrounding area which was wonderful. The local marina is well worth a visit and there are plenty of activities to do from water sports to dolphin cruises and trips out to see the sunset. A must do.

The sand is unbelievably soft huge beach area. Many places to eat and stay including most of the fancy hotel properties. I would recommend a walk out to Pier 60 and see some of the shops around the beach.
