This is an entertaining look at how schools used to be. This retired teacher and her husnand enjoyed it.

Historical information about how this school functioned with their rules and consequences in the 1600's . Possibly needed at the time to assure structure and learning. Interesting compared to what our schools are like today.

Great animatronics to depict what school was like in the beginning. Lovely garden with many plants. Great gift shop for teachers.

Very interesting building, one of the oldest in St Augustine. Educators will especially enjoy seeing this as will young children. Very well preserved and maintained.

What nice history! It's kept up nicely, at least as nicely as an old wooden building can be. Great for education lovers and historical building lovers too.

The cedar and Cyprus wood structure with a coquina chimney and rough, tabby floor is considered the oldest surviving frame structure in St.Augustine. The history attached to this is amazing. This has to be on the list of mandatory places to see in Saint Augustine!

This historic building was fun to see. The whole area is fascinating and the crowds were very well-behaved. Much more so than most of the Orlando crowds that we encountered in the malls and attractions there. Definitely check it out.

It is only a few bucks to get in... it is cute and the story is interesting. I'm a teacher, so I got a kick out of it... kids would probably find it interesting as well. It does make a teacher feel a little "inspired"...
