With amply wide fairways, the Slammer & Squire is a good resort course for the weekend golfer. However, wind and aggressive pin placements can turn this average slope rated links into a challenging test for golfers of all handicaps.

We enjoyed the staff as much as the course, very welcoming and accommodating. Course was in very good shape, greens were very fast but readable. Speed of play was reasonable and we were able to get in 18 well before dark after starting at 2PM. Will be planning golf outing with friends.

My brother and I played Slammer and Squire and had a fun day. It is located in the World Golf Village near St Augustine. The parking lot is a bit of a ways from the course but they have a nice man in a cart who picks you up and takes you to the course. They have a lovely clubhouse,... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the total golf experience at this course! All staff members we met were very friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape, the greens were fast and challenging, the pace of play was good and the sand traps had been freshly redone. The practice facilities were also good with free range balls provided.... More

This is a great course- at least the 9 holes we played were. They had some hurricane damage, and are redoing the bunkers, so had to play the back nine twice. It was still fun, and those 9 were in great condition. Work should be done by mid January.

Staff was awesome! We showed up without a tee time, on a day when Tropical Storm Julia was suppose to hit. It only rained for a few minutes, and had an awesome time! Wish we would have played it again, instead of some of the other courses we played.

Course was in good shape although the greens had just been aerated (we were warned by staff). Course is pretty open without many difficult hazards. Staff was great. Bag drop call resulted in a quick and friendly pick up. Was a little pricey considering off season but it is a resort area. Also associated with other courses through the World... More

We were staying at the Golf World Villas, within a short walk to the club drop area where we were picked up by the shuttle driver who took great care of us. I'm spoiled as far as green fees are concerned, as I can play at the military courses in the area. But, even buying the vouchers at the resort,... More

This was my first time playing golf at the World Golf Village. We played the Slammer & Squire course. Overall this was an excellent experience. Great practice range and putting green. We found the course to be is pretty good shape with some areas of brown out - but this is mid summer. Liked the short cut fairways very much.... More

We were on our way north and have always wanted to visit the World Golf Hall of Fame and play one of their courses. We decided on the Slammer and Squire and were not disappointed. We made our tee time on line and got what I thought was a good deal. When we checked in to the pro shop we... More
