This is an interactive museum, where they give you a map to treasure hunt throughout, and you tour on your own, take as much time as you need. I recommend putting this place on the top of your list of places to visit.

The woman who checked us in could have been more friendlier!!! Very interesting museum with lots of artifacts, including an original pirate flag. Kids enjoyed seeing all the pirate things. It would have been nice to see an actual pirate during our visit though. They were so excited to see the pirate as we passed by on the trolley, however... More

Thank you for coming to see the museum! We do offer Pirate Guided tours each Saturday at 1030AM, Noon, 130PM, and 3PM - but I am indeed sorry you did not get to visit with one of our pirates during your visit. I am glad to hear that you were able to peruse the artifacts and interactive exhibits of the... More

We like history...and pirates. Information overload here and it was great. Takes about 2 hours if you watch videos, read plaques, and play with interactive items. Older children will like it. Little ones might be bored.

We walked by and I was sorry for a moment we did not have small kids with us. Guaranteed they would have enjoyed it ! There is a fun pirate display on the outside to lure kids in. I did not see a line of people trying to get in, unlike at some other attractions we passed by. With children... More

Everything you ever wanted to know about pirates is housed here. We had a blast exploring the pirate's life and viewing some real buried treasure.

This is a great attraction for families and oldsters like me. Having always been fascinated by pirates, I loved it. Especially interesting are the "sound rooms" where you hear reenactments of scenarios, and, of course, setting off the cannons. Fun stuff!

Nice little museum on the history of pirates along with real pieces of history. The older children enjoyed it but the tot was a bit scared of the items.

It's true, we don't shy away from the history of piracy, so parts of our museum may be a bit intense for some of our youngest fans - but I am so pleased that you brought in your crew to see ours. Thank you for taking time to spend with us while in St. Augustine! More

My husband and I were afraid this might be hokey, but decided to check it out after a recommendation. It was great! There was a lot of interesting information presented in a fun way. The historical items, interactive displays, and even sound effects really added to the experience. Kids would surely love this. This grandma and grandpa even enjoyed it!

We went with our two granddaughters. It was a bit crowded, but we could see everything and read all we wanted to. The 8-yr old loved it. The 4 yr-old was scared at some of the louder displays as well as the skeleton. Both enjoyed it overall. As adults, we loved all the artifacts and information.
