I am not sure what I expected, but the Alligator Farm was excellent! It was more like a zoo, very clean and well maintained. Lots of interesting exhibits and there are more than alligators. Don't miss the feedings, who knew alligators could jump!!! That was...More

I admit I did not have high expectations prior to our visit. I was very wrong! There is plenty to see here including tropical birds, monkeys and snakes ( including a king cobra) along with alligators, crocs, and caiman. My favorite exhibit was the toucans,...More

I think most children would find this place exciting and I enjoyed it as an adult. Some native floridians have said it isn't as interesting because they've seen plenty of gators before, but my 6 yr old daughter and I loved it. There were animal...More

Very skeptical at first as cost was high and thought we would only see alligators. What a great place and lot's of different animals. Loved the birds. Great for the kids - ok I enjoyed it too.

This is actually a fascinating place for adults and children. Of course, the alligators are a main attraction, but the bird rookery is truly amazing. Herons, egrets, spoonbills and other Florida bird life nest in the tree tops above the lagoon. Very picturesque for photographers.

This was something my friend and I wanted to check out. But don't go there with the expectations of seeing a lot of "action" with the gators. They were sleeping/inactive most of the time. The staff, Noah, was really good, though, and it was interesting...More

Really liked the place. Took my boyfriend there showing him around Florida. He loved it, found it interesting. Has different types of alligators and crocodiles. They also have different type of animals, which is a good thing. Great for kids. It's safe so don't worry....More

A very good display of ALLIGATORS and birds as well as exotic species of animals. Loved the bird rookery. Nice to see all the Florida birds who select to live in the trees above the alligators. As we were told the alligators protect the bird...More

We have an alligator feeding every day at 12,3 and 6pm in the summer, so we suggest you base your visit around one of those times. Also, you get your hand stamped when you pay admission, so you can come and go all day long!

With regards to the zip-line courses, what type of braking system is used? I've been on courses before where you use your gloved hand directly on the line to stop yourself. Just curious what method is used here.

No, he should be fine! The park is laid out in a kind of cloverleaf pattern and there are shady places to sit and watch the animals.
