The tour was guided by two women, Constance and Annie, who were dressed in Colonial-style costumes. They pointed out and sometimes demonstrated many products available in the late 1800s into the early 1900s. Some items on display were kitchen gadgets, sewing machines, bicycles, typewriters, adding...More

Lots of curios representing the Old Florida. History buffs will love this oldest store museum. One pays an entrance fee to browse inside the store and let one's imagination fly at the sight of the myriad of artifacts reminding us of Florida's historical past.

An assortment of items sold at general stores in the later eighteen hundreds into the early nineteen hundreds. Some are familiar and stillout there, while other are just plain weird by today's standards

Interesting history provided from tour guide. Rather warm inside as door closed when group enters the store. No sitting during store tour and probably takes 35-45 min. Was interesting to see types of products people would expect to see in a store way back then.

We enjoyed a tour of the old store by several guides who posed as characters working in the store during the store's hey-day. They were informative and lively. Lots of good antiques to view in the store.
