Another nice park close by. A few mn. from Clearwater. A good waterside walk with lots of wildlife. Great picknic sites. These small parks offer a nice quiet alternative to the crowds in the main tourist areas

Pinellas county is filled with beautiful parks and that is the only reason I can think of as to why this park is packed constantly. Philippe Park should be visited or frequented by anyone who enjoys tree covered walks with water views.

I can walk to Philippe Park from my house. Beautiful to walk or bike along Tampa Bay. I visit there at least 5 times a week. So quiet and peaceful.

Philippe Park is my favorite park in the Tampa Bay area. The rolling hills and thick shaded trees makes you forget you are in Florida. The view of the bay on the mound is spectacular. The interesting walkways and sandy beaches are fun for kids...More

I bring my 3 year old boy and his brother of 1.5 and they enjoy this park a lot, especially when there are other kids playing, which happens almost always.
