Lots fed it here . Some wonderful birds to view up close . Great photo ops. Saw pelicans , and an eagle up close, as well as owls.

Could not find a place to park. So we left. I imagine that this wildlife center is very good, in that parking was at a premium.

So heartwarming to see the care the wildlife receives here. So many amazing creatures to see. They receive no federal or state funding so be sure to donate if you visit *I am in no way affiliated with the center but understand how important donations are to keep it going. Sweet little gift shop too.

the people who work in this refuge are dedicated and know how to accept orphans from the wildlife. I found a squirrel in my back yard.. put it in a shoe box and they took in the new born squirrel.

We enjoyed our visit to this center. There are many many interesting breeds of birds and wildlife. It's not a very large place but was fun to visit anyway.

This is a non profit rehab center for injured birds. The cute campus includes cages of Florida birds that are either healing or too injured to return to their habitat. You'll see everything from Bald eagles and pelican to Spoonbills up close. This is a great place to bring family or friends.

You drive and drive out of Punta Gorda Isles to the end of the road...think you are lost when you notice the shacklike structure that is Peace River Wildlife Center. They ask for a donation (we gave $10 for 2 of us). You can literally walk through in 10 minutes but I recommend listening to the volunteers who love these... More
