I was surprised by this hidden gem. I was expecting a place to see some beautiful animals. But what you get is more valuable especially for kids. This place takes in and cares for abused and neglected animals. There are knowledgeable volunteers to walk through...More

This WILL be the closest you'll ever get to a tiger...roughly 5 feet!! The sanctuary houses abused animals and is only open on weekends! Kind of in the middle of nowhere.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The Sanctuary has virtually no signage so it can be hard to find. It’s family owned and operated and seems to have a good reputation in the industry, based on the animals' stories printed on the signs on each...More

This is a zoo across from the 'Babcock Ranch' in the middle of no where. It's somewhat hard to find. They used to accept donations but no charge a small entry free. The zoo is small enough that doesn't involve a lot of walking. The...More

I helped with their cleanup efforts after hurricane Irma. This place took a big hit where much of the surrounding foliage was in disarray. I know this place is performing a good service to animals. I'm hoping the place continued to improve their appearance.

Our family visited this sanctuary on a Saturday. It was a fun day trip for us. I think my favorite thing was watching the bears. It was muddy and we had flip flops on but I think it was worth it for us. They had...More

This is a phenomenal animal rescue facility dealing with only wild animals. Lions, Tigers, Bears, Ligers, foxes, coyotes, wolves, hyenas and a selection of birds. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and informative; they really know about all the animals and seem to have...More

I didn’t know this place existed. Went with children grandchildren. Great experience to see the animals all being cared for by volunteers. Volunteers are very informative and empathetic to these poor creatures living in captivity.
