The Hammock Preserve is a beautiful and peaceful area off Carlton Road. If you go in the summertime it is best early in the morning. You'll see many species of beautiful butterflies and birds.

a great park to utilize photography shots. beautiful greenery and some water on a canal. of course be careful of the bugs, and mosquitos. you can hike thru the woods and also have a picnic.

I have been on several ranger led hikes here. some hammock areas and reclaimed pastures. Mostly natural area, no facilities.

This is a wonderful walk. There are beautiful trees and flowers. Lots of butterflies are flying around! We even saw wild pig tracks!! Really enjoyed this!
