Made online reservations, checked in without any problems. Very friendly staff/Rangers. Dog friendly park, but no dogs on beach inside park. Public access beach is very close by and easy to find/park. We were tent camping - be sure to bring your bug spray and use liberally. You are outdoors, after all. Privacy in campsites varies. Gulf Breeze loop has... More

The beaches are the nicest I've ever seen. Sugar sand, clear blue water. Not too busy nor congested. Small fee to enter. Friendly park staff.......

We strolled at the beach, walked through the wilderness dunes on boardwalk, kayaked on the bayside, and hiked the nature trail.

The hubs and I brought our SUP for a 2 nite stay which we extended to three. Very picturesque with the surf to one side and the bay on the other. Clean campsite hardly any bugs in February

I hate to give a good review as I want to keep this place to myself. We love camping here and try to make the trip a couple times a year. Make sure to take the opportunity to take the short hike to the bay side located just inside the gate on the right when entering park.

I love the beach! St. Joe's Peninsula has one of the most spectacular beaches in the USA. Miles and miles of white sand and a haven for shelling. We camped at the beach campground at the park. The beach is right there. It is separate from the day beach so it is so private. If you like wild and beautiful... More

Powdery white sand, untrammeled dunes, and the beautiful Gulf make this a spectacular place for beach lovers. The water was closed for swimming today because the surf was too rough, but the beach was so lovely for walking and sun bathing. The water temp was reportedly 73 degrees and there was hardly a soul in sight. This is one of... More

Visited while staying on Cape San Blas. Beautiful white sand beach. The campgrounds looked very nice. Most sites were occupied. The nature trail on the bay side was short but very enjoyable. The trail out to the tip of the peninsula is seven miles one way and through loose sand. We did about two miles and headed back. The bayside... More

We went to the park and visited Eagle Bay several days over Spring Break to enjoy some calm water for kayaking and paddle board. We had a ton of fun finding sea urchins, star fish, sand dollars, and horseshoe crabs. A great spot for young kids and families.
