All golfers If you are in the area, you HAVE to play this course. Perhaps one of the best I have ever played and certainly one of the friendliest. Everyone from pro shop to starter we're superb and the course is so clever, with strategic water and bunkers. Winds its way through a number of housing estates, which are beautiful... More

We have had lunch here before and thought it was pretty good. But today was a disappointment. I ordered soup of the day (beer cheese) and it was so salty it was inedible. I also ordered a house salad with a scoop of chicken salad. The chicken salad was made up of tiny shreds of chicken meat. I've never seen... More

Thank you for your comments. The Tavern Restaurant although on the Cypress Head property, is an independently owned & operated business. I will pass your comments to the owners. We want every visit to our Golf Course to be a good one. I will let them know of your disappointment. More

We had a large party of about 18 family members for their Easter buffet. You cannot imagine the transformation of this meal and venue, after being closed last year. A country club restaurant, open to the public is unusual. But, this is the place to go to. They had carving stations, a mile long salad bar, desserts done beautifully. The... More

This course is always fun to play. After they reopened at the end of 2015 the course has been in great shape. The greens are quick and true and I absolutely love that. They fixed an leveled their tee boxes as well. It is a very challenging course with a lot of tight tee shots and water. But there are... More

Seems like there were extensive renovations done in the last year to the clubhouse -- very nice. Had dinner in the restaurant, which is now run by a private enterprise operator. The food was very good, and the service was terrific. The course remains one of my favorites in the area; excellent, interesting, challenging, but fair layout, and it is... More

there're a lot of water holes here, which come more into play the further back you go on the tees. not for the faint-hearted but, if you're up for a challenge, this course will provide it. if, by some good fortune, you go around without losing a ball, there must be a feeling of genuine satisfaction. unfortunately, such a feeling... This is a good, challenging course especially for a municipal. The makeover last May has made it a top Mid-Priced course in the area. Only gripe is that they waited until after we had paid to tell us it was cart path only. With fairways and rough this wide you actually end up walking more than if you didn't have a... More

When we booked this golf course, we did not know it was a municipal course, but we weren't disappointed. Not as pristine as some Florida courses we have played, it was still worth the fee. New golf carts, friendly staff, restaurant on site, and reasonable playing conditions.

You have to stop by this golf course if you like paying less than $20.00 dollars past 2pm for 18 holes. Great course, and an awesome bar inside. Cheap! Cheap! Cheap! Drinks! They also have a tiny restaurant & can order food while your on the course itself.

If you have been on the sidelines for awhile (as we Canadians can be) this is a good course to start on as a warm up. The conditions were good (slow greens though) and generous fairways which are helpful for knocking the rust off your game. We got a great deal online and it was a great value for the... More
