Another Florida Jewel. My family and I love to swim in Florida Springs and Ponce the Leon was a most, we drove all the way from Miami to north Florida just to enjoy this crystal clear 68 degree refreshing water. No wonder they called it The Fountain of Youth!

We passed through on a bicycle tour and decided to stop even though it was not listed as an attraction on our map set. Its off the main road (south) a bit, through a residential area. $2/per to enter but sssssoooo worth every dime. A sweet little fresh water spring developed into an open end pool with ladder, dive platform... More

This is one park that is daytime use only. It's beautiful clear springs that flow out in a pretty little shallow creek that kids can play in. Lots of covered picnic tables and a really nice restroom area. The main spring is set up for swimming but be warned .... It's very cold!

Our kids enjoyed seeing the spring and creek. The nature trails were easy to navigate, and were a good first "hiking" trip for our 5-yr.-old.

I went here as a kid and have since been able to returning Florida with my kids and grandson to enjoy the springs with them. Most beautiful waters and cypress trees and the water is always cold and refreshing in the Florida heat.

Great swimming and picnicking spot. Crowded on hot summer days. The water is clear, cold, and refreshing.

Small springs area to swim. Picnic tables. Water is cold of course but it is very clear. There are a variety of fish to see. It's a good place to snorkel for a more natural environment than Vortex Springs but much smaller.

Interesting boat trip, nice park, good swimming area and a wonderful little restaurant where you cook your own pancakes at the table. Thoroughly enjoyable day out

This park has an on-site boat tour (additional cost), and a restaurant. Take a dip in the nice cool spring on a hot summer day.

While visiting family in Ormond Beach, they took me to this beautiful State Park. The area is breathtaking !! Be sure to come early and visit the restaurant where you cook you own pancakes on a grill built into the table. Service is great, and the experience is one I'll never forget.
