We stopped in looking to tour the Wesley house. Unfortunately they are closed on Wednesdays. The trees and grounds were worth stopping and enjoying. It would have been better if we could have toured the house.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the yard and gardens after a week at the beach. Nice change of pace for an afternoon. The house is lovely. Only $4 fee per car to get in. Tour the small garden at your own pace. Nice big lake with benches to sit and enjoy the view.

Nice spot to spend a few hours walking the grounds and touring the house. Enjoyed learning the history of the house and grounds. Nice walk to the river and enjoyed sitting on the dock.

This site is small, as state parks go. But if you do the house tour it is well worth your time. The docent was very knowledgeable and personable. The house furnishings and their story is amazing. Be sure to stroll the grounds and enjoy the humongous trees around the house. If you're lucky and patient you can also observe the... More

This park is small but beautiful. Pack a picnic and spend an afternoon strolling the walking trail and gardens. The mansion is not open on Monday & Tuesday IIRC. $4/vehicle to enter.

We saw this in August, so there were very few flowers blooming which we were aware of before we went. Less than 5miles from Seaside, FL. I always enjoy exploring and seeing something in addition to the beach. Floral display would probably be much better in the spring. There was a neat sculpture of 2 kids carrying a canoe down... We had a very enjoyable experience walking the grounds, many opportunities for photo shots of gardens and grounds. One of the reason we choice to visit the this state park was the Wesley House tour. The tour guide was... More

Beautiful "Old Florida" Estate and Gardens. The house is teriffic! The reflecting pool and Oaks make a wonderful place for quiet reflection or a outdoor wedding. My daughter was married here.

In about 1959 I had the opportunity to see the property that is now Eden Gardens State Park. A friend of mine was interested in the property since had some oyster leases nearby on Choctawhatchee Bay. It was truly a trip in to the past with stately oaks dripping spanish moss, vast areas of palmetto's, native magnolia trees and rattle... More
