We spent 5 nights in a 29 ft RV with our poodle. Love the rustic setting and easy walk to the water. We rented a car so we could see and do more. Visited Fairhope, AL and the nearby beaches. We tried several restaurants but enjoyed Sunset Grille the most. Loved the place and will come back. rangers were friendly

We found this place by accident when we failed to find the dog park we were looking for. We decided to take a little hike. Part of the hike is on boardwalks and part is on sand. Great views of the bay. All in all a nice little state park.

Just went thru on a bike ride. Beaches looked inviting, sites seemed ok. Very much a natural habitat. Loved watching the hermit crabs on the beach and the dolphins swimming aklong with the boats.

Loved the hikes here and the wildlife. We enjoyed hiking to the observation tower. Would love to go back and spend more time. It would also be great to kayak around this area. I would love to go when it is warmer too.

Clean park within quick drive to tons of great fishing. We were here last October and were able to catch redsnapper a short paddle from the beach. Our campsite was sand (I think they all were) and had sand spurs and fire ants all over. Bring some fire ant killer and some ground cover or you will be swimming in... More
