The history involved in this place is amazing! The views are breathtaking but when it is better to go when the weather is cooler since you will be walking a lot.

There is not a lot to see here, but what there is is highly interesting. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, and climb up and down a lot of stairs if you want to see everything.

It is just down from the aviation museum. National park service run and well preserved. It is on an active navel base so understand you must go through security. Is worth it.

Fort Barrancas is a Civil War era fort in excellent condition on NAS Pensacola. It is just around the corner from the air museum. It is well preserved and worth the time to see. It is a national park and admission is $7.
