Ghosts and Graveyard Tour of Pensacola

56 reviews
Embark on a journey through Pensacola's darker past and haunted present on a group ghost tour. A 1930 Ford transit bus takes you to the city's scariest locations. Discover the macabre history not found in any guidebook and listen to stories about stubborn ghosts who can't seem to move on. Bank robbery, live burial, and embalming techniques are just a few of the tour’s talking points.

Ready yourself for amazing views as you climb up the stairs of the Pensacola Light House. The picture perfect skyline and sugar sand beaches will demand the need for a selfie and a few moments to take in the serene beauty. Definitely a worthy stop for the sights and an educational glimpse into the past.

I am not real good with heights but, was not going to let me date go up without me. Great views! Awesome staff was very helpful. A lot of interesting facts and history. Did not take long to go up and come down 177 spiral stairs. Neat little gift store. You will need a government ID to get access to the base.

Wifey looked it up on line and it said nothing about being shut down to non DOD personnel. Drove all the way there to see it and the fort and stopped at the gate and kinda made to look foolishly like we should no that due to the shooting back in January that they shut down the lighthouse. Told the guard and all he said is that the website is run by someone else. No signs anywere saying its closed. Think its BS.

Good Evening, We're sorry for your recent interaction at the gate. The lighthouse is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday from 10am-4pm. The Naval Air Station at this time does not allow civilians to enter the base unescorted. If you're interested in different options available to tour the lighthouse, please contact me at Lighthousekeeper80@outlook.com.

This place will always be special to me because it's where my fiance proposed. The staff was amazingly helpful to him with that process as well. The climb to the top is a big one so make sure to be ready for sore legs, but once you get to the top the view of the gulf and surrounding areas is amazing!

Thank you for allowing the Pensacola Lighthouse to be a part of your life's story! It's definitely a special place! I first asked my wife to be my girl friend on the beach in front of the lighthouse and now, this summer, we celebrated 19 years of marriage. Love is in the air here :D.
