My wife and I went with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend and another couple we had a great time with the murder mystery and the food was fabulous but alone going on the old fashion train is nice is a great time. For all ages.

We rode a train out one way had the opportunity to get off and walk around a museum and then boarded the same train for the return trip. We did not have a problem leaving our belongings in our seat while we at the stop.
Yes, you can take food and drink on the train. There is a snack bar on the train but the options are very limited. There are also snack items for sale in their gift shop before and after the train ride.
