My husband had read a book which talked about Henry Flagler and was interested in seeing the his home which is now a museum. It was a 3 hour drive for us and we arrived just in time for the 11:00am docent guided tour. Definitely take advantage of the knowledge these wonderful guides have! I would have liked to do... More

Great Florida history. Wish more areas in the house were open to the public. Kind of expensive. The grounds are beautiful and the location is what you would expect.

Named after one of the leading families and Governors of the State, the place is still well preserved and is a must see for those who are here for the first time. Otherwise, it is a genteel sunny day walk.

Have lived in Palm Beach County for 30 years but had never visited. Was there checking out as possible venue for a wedding. What a treasure! Go and take a step back in time. Found the tour extremely interesting but also found the team at the museum to be most knowledgeable as you would expect but even more friendly and... More

My husband and I took the audio tour of the Flagler Museum on a Wednesday afternoon, so it was not crowded at all. What an unbelievable piece of history. The tour was easy to follow and offered insight into the art, architecture and social customs of the period. Beautiful grounds and the personal railroad car was awesome! It took us... More

This was a really great tour. Our docent was excellent. Well worth the time and money. Be sure to view the railroad car in an adjacent building.

Museum to enjoy with family and feel how the wealthiest man in Florida lived back in his time. Very well maintained in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US. Went there for mother's day tea, which is a nice but very very expensive experience.

Visited with my daughter on an unscheduled Sunday road trip. Very pricey to get in but well worth it. Every detail is perfectly preserved and stunningly displayed. Absolutely delightful!

Plan several hours to make your way through an authentic mansion from the gilded age. The home has many rooms to explore and enjoy. There is an authentic train car to see as well. The furnishings and artifacts are many, and you will get a real sense of what life was like for the wealthy families of the age. The... More

I visited the Flagler Museum with my girlfriend and we were blown away by its magnificence. The house itself was stunning from its gold-plated furnishings to its immaculate design overlooking the bay. We went on a tour and learned of the impact Henry Flagler had on the state and how he built the mansion as a present to his wife.... More
