About
Private transfers provide a terrific way to get between the airport and your hotel. There's no waiting in taxi lines or making multiple shuttle stops. There's just the relaxed and stress-free transportation of a late-model vehicle and a professional chauffeur.

Avoid at all cost!! Either rates are higher than Uber or we were overcharged by taxi driver from Universal Studios to Rosen Inn at Pointe on international drive. Emailed Mears directly with receipt, reg number & taxi number and awaiting a response with request for a refund and full investigation.

Warning! Caution! Nightmare!!! Do not use Mears for any transportation services. We had booked and confirmed a private shuttle for our family of 9. The shuttle we reserved did not show up. However, a large Mears bus showed up much later and our name was on their itinerary for pick up. As we were loading our bags, a women goes up to the bus driver and creates a scene saying she is better than us and she reserved a private bus. So did we. Our name was on the manifest for that bus. The bus driver did not stand up for us and told us to get off the bus so he can take the crazy lady. The bus driver and the Mears “business” caused my family emotional distress as we were left stranded. Disney management tried to get in touch with Mears too and they too kept getting the run around. Mears is a poor excuse for a business. I personally will be following up with Mears management as well as informing AAA and posting this review on every travel site I can find.

We picked this service as I have an 18 month old and did not want to travel with a car seat or rent one I didn’t know the history of. Transportation from MCO was on a large bus and was fine and similar to our prior experiences with magical express. On our way back however, we were picked up in a ford transit van. I suppose this had to do with our very early pickup time (6 am). Supposedly this is legal as Florida doesn’t require car seats in taxis, but it’s certainly not safe. I would avoid this service if you have young children.

What are we paying for????? We waited on the bus for 25 min and were the last people to be dropped off. We are staying at the Polynesian but we dropped off everyone else first including the people staying at the holiday inn 15 min away. I am so angry we paid for this when an Uber would have gotten us there an hour quicker.

During a recent Disney World trip, we elected used Mears Connect "Express" to and from MCO due to the fact we had small children (6 & 8) with us . Based on the web site details, I understood it was possibly a shared service. However, I didn't realize we would be loaded on a standard Mears Bus at the same time and along with Mears Connect "Standard" purchaser's. As advertised, the first stop was at our resort, however I believe it would have been the first stop anyway -- thus the "double price" paid was DEFINITELY NOT worth it.
The return trip was once again a standard Mears bus, in which all other riders were Mears Connect "standard" customers except us. The real frustration was realized upon arrival at MCO, when we were dropped off on the opposite side of the airport from our ticket counter (B vs A) and the luggage placed outside of the bus without any courtesy luggage carts available.
In conclusion, I highly recommend not using the "Mears Connect EXPRESS" service. The "Mears Connect Standard" service may cost you a little wait, but safe you half the cost.
Better yet, avoid this service all together if other reasonable options are available.

Very pleased with our Mears Connect shuttle to Walt Disney world. We booked a round trip ticket to and from MCO to our resort. The wait time when we arrived at the bus depot MCO was under 5 minutes. When it came time to return there was a problem with our flight and the time of departure changed. I plugged the change into the Mears website and within minutes they texted me a new pickup time and QR code. When leaving the resort the bus pulled in within 1 minute of the correct time. Both our drivers were courteous and professional. Nobody is happy that Disney is not offering this complimentary any more. But Mears is a great option that I would recommend.

We were happy with Mears Connect service during our Disney trip this month.
Our driver was friendly and had us all counting down as we went through the Disney World property gates! On our way back to the airport we had an early pick up at 4:15 am, Lloyd was the driver on that route and was also very cheerful and helpful!
I received email confirmations, scan codes and even text messages when drivers were on their way.
While we miss the Disney videos they would play when it was the Magical Express, for a fair price we got where we needed to be on time and we didn’t mind collecting our own luggage. It was nice not waiting for it to arrive to our room. We walked in our room and were ready to head to the parks!

While there were not a lot of people waiting, evidently they don’t have enough buses. Waited an hour before even leaving to WDW. Will plan to find other arrangements next time. This is just too big a waste of time.

Paid for express service for Disney. The wait for the transport was almost an hour. We were not the first drop off as promised. We missed our first lightning lane reservation and lunch reservation.
