About
Lake Eola Park is located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The sidewalk that circles the lake is 0.9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats, feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline. Parking is free on Eola Drive on the east side of the park and there is metered parking on Central Boulevard and Rosalind Avenue. There is also street parking in Eola Heights and Thornton Park, a two to five block walk to the park. You can also park in any of the garages within a few blocks of the park. These include the Post Parkside parking garage at Osceola Avenue and East Central Boulevard; the Paramount/Publix parking garage at Lake Avenue and East Central Boulevard; and the Library parking garage at 112 East Central Boulevard. Please note: swans can get sick eating bread and popcorn. Visitors to the park can feed them lettuce, spinach, duck food pellets or buy food from the new swan feeders.

Lovely view of Lake Eola 🦢
Sep 2021 • Friends
I enjoy the Lake view and swans 🦢 It is awesome but the homeless people are an eyesore. I’ve been there many times but I’m going to find another place because of the homeliness around the park and surrounding streets and area.

Lake Eola is an Essential Orlando Spot
Jul 2021
Once of the nicest things about Downtown Florida is that a number of lakes are parks. Lake Eola is the granddaddy of them all. I tend to do two laps every Saturday morning before an early lunch. On Sundays you will often find a Famer’s Market if the city isn’t fighting germ warfare. You’ll also see arts shows and dog shows and sometimes 5K.

The homeless can be a problem but they tend to congregate at the southwest part. Often there are fools smoking weed. I guess they are more likely to get into trouble with their landlords than law enforcement. It doesn’t seem to keep the families away. With the history center and the library just to the west of here, you can spend all day getting exercise, culture, and food.

We went to the fireworks show on July 4 for the first time in years. It was crowded. You want get there early or pay for parking if you attempt it, otherwise you be parking in the nether reaches and stuck in traffic. On any other day parking is available one way or the other.

Lake Eola is essential the character of downtown.

Fourth of July
Jul 2021
I spent the Fourth of July evening at the beautiful Lake Eola Park. I had visited back in May and it was amazing then as well. The celebrations were amazing and the park is very well kept.

Swan Boats
Jun 2021 • Family
They refused us service twice on two separate days we attended to ride the swan boats. They kept saying it was due to inclement weather or because there was a waitlist, but on the website it says first come first serve. We called multiple times and they never mentioned a waitlist. Overall, very unorganized and I am never one to complain. Majority of the boats are broken, I don’t know why they just don’t get newer boats to prevent all this issues from occurring.

A Beautiful City Park
Apr 2021 • Couples
My husband and I went to this park to take an evening walk and were delighted with all of the sights and sounds surrounding the lake. We never saw so many swans in one place! There were swans, birds, other waterfowl, sculptures, play areas, swan boats you can rent, etc. The fountain in the middle is very nice as is the back of the bandstand. It was very busy yet there was plenty of room to walk and enjoy. There were also lots of benches along the way to take a break. We enjoyed it so much we walked around the lake several times. We noticed there were many places near the lake to eat, have a drink and socialize also.

A Very Relaxing Stroll
Apr 2021 • Couples
Our walk around Lake Eola was wonderful. We saw lots of swans, turtles and ducks. You can also rent a swan paddle boat to cross the lake. There are plenty of interesting restaurants all around the lake and we ate at Metro Espresso Pizza which had a lot of meal choices . We loved it! The fountain in the middle of Lake Eola was beautiful. It was a nice day and a nice way to enjoy it.

Safe, pleasant park around large lake surrounded by tall buildings in downtown Orlando. Lots of places to just sit. Lots of restaurants and bars in the surrounding buildings. Many festivals trough the year. Mostly free or low cost.

Beautiful oasis
Mar 2021 • Family
One of our favorite activities of the trip. We walked the whole path. The swans are tame and let people get crazy close. The boats were fun as well. Check out the groupon to save a few bucks and avoid giving your credit card here. Great background for pictures. Parked at the library about a block away. Only $2 per hour or so. We had lunch at world of beer.
