We had a very nice time. We loved seeing the animals up close. The bridge crossing was fine not really scary. But the slats could be a little far away at times.

My boys and I loved crossing over 2 bridges with 24 crocodiles underneath! Those things are BIG! We watched hippos and three female rhinos protecting themselves from one male. I must say, the safari was worth the extra money. The park's complimentary tour is only...More

Hi! My boyfriend is in love with Gorillas. He thinks they are the coolest things ever so I've been looking for a cool gorilla encounter we could possibly do. Does the trek provide you with any up-close/extra experience with the gorillas? Or is it the same as what you can do without paying extra?

No. The gorillas are on a separate trail from the one used for the trek, which covers the animals that can be seen on the Safari ride.

We have booked the Wild Africa Trek for 8am, but the park doesn't open until 9am. How do we get to Wild Africa Trek if the park isn't open? Thanks.

Just go to the park early and show them your reservation. They will let you pass the ropes. Folks that have reserved Character Dining has the same issue - they are used to it and handle it well. Enjoy.
We have an 8 6 3yo and a 4 month old, is this something we could go on?
